| In Argentina, I enjoyed playing with the Tucuman Symphony under the baton of Jeff Manookian in the newly remodeled San Martin Theater. His invitation for me to play the Beethoven Choral Fantasy in this historic theater was a life-time opporunity! | In Santiago, Chile, I was sponsored by the US Embassy to play American piano music at various conservatories and universities. As well, I taught in masterclasses at many of these insitutions. Special thanks goes to Valene Georges for initiating contacts to make this happen! | In Cuenca, Ecuador, I was involved with the first annual Festival for Young Pianists where I taught and performed a solo recital. As well, I gave a concert in Gualaceo. Francis Yang was the director and organized the entire event; un gran hombre muy bueno! |
