In the fall of 2006, I traveled to Pune, India and stayed with the Parag-Kermeen-Jessica-Hazel Mehta family--at their Wada at the Mahindra United World College of India. I did a tiny bit of traveling (a jaunt to Singapore, and one trip to Bombay) but was quite a homebody for most of the time with trips into downtown now and then to do some shopping. I played a concert at the Pune Music Society, a lecture-recital or two at the college itself, and a concert at the Yamaha center in Singapore. Twas a rare an unforgettable experience to have lived with Parag and his family in India for which I'm forever grateful, and someday soon I shall make it back.
